Practices and games ran every Monday and
Tuesday after school from 3pm- 5pm as the Curling Colts worked hard
on delivery mechanics and stategy with Ontario-champion coaches
Gord Gark and Bill Smith.
The improvement in the team's play was evident
as the season progressed. St. Clair entered the LSSAA playoffs as
a competitive darkhorse and nearly shocked the St. Chris Cyclones
in the quarter-finals. The final score was 9-8 in 8 ends.
Next year will see a lot of growth in the
St. Clair program as about 20 new curlers have been introduced to
the sport. A competetive Girls' Team will also be formed. Any curlers
interested in playing competitivly or recreationally are welcome
to come out! We have ice time every Monday and Tuesday after school
from 3pm to 5pm!

see you in September!" -Hoffs
